With this PSU can I run 2 different motherboards?

Support

This is not an ATX power supply. It is not compatible with ATX multi voltage. You may use special adapter to power a motherboard with it, however, the motherboard will never control the PSU state on/off/restart/shutdown. To answer your question, NO you can’t. However, with an ATX adapter you can power ten of them!

Hello, I have bought three of this PSU Kit’s and 6 Pin Risers. I powering both my GPUs und Risers with this Power Supplies (tried all three power supplies) but I got allready 8 shortages with my risers (everytime with some smoke directly from the risers).

Now I’m getting a bit worried when I turn my Rigs off and on. I’m getting 230 Volt and 50 Hz (Europe) from the wall and bought high quality power cables (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01FZP2FYI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Is there a specific way to put the 6 Pin cable into the breakoutboard? I also tried Y-Cable for for the risers (1 PCIe cable to 2 risers). I experienced this shortage with all three Powers Supplies. Are those 200 Amps Breakoutboard maybe to high?

thanks in advance!

The PSU kit are simple device. They convert your AC power to 12volt power. You need to check your riser! Perhaps the layout of ground VS 12volts is incorrect. I personalty seen riser bottom soldering pin touching metal frame and create shortage. The fact that you have tried three diffrent power supply and gotten the same result should tell you to start looking else where. Check the riser polarity / the cable and check if any pin out of the riser are touching any metal metal “sometimes they pierce their own rubber base protection” . All our power supply are compatible with both 50HZ and 60HZ. This is not a factor.

Hi, does the power cord come together with this PSU as well or do I have to buy it separately?

We do not include them because they are too many variant on the end user side. That said, we do have the C19 to C13 cord that can be connect to a PDU or a Desktop computer type power cord

How do you power the rises with this? the risers are powered by Molex or Sata and I don’t see a way to power them with these cables.

New riser on the market today uses 6pin PCie connector. Just like GPUs or our breakout board. If your riser require SATA you will need to get some adapters

When I plug in the psu the breakout board on the right side has a yellow light that lights up but the left side does not light up. I reversed the breakout boards and still the one on the right has a yellow light that lights up. Also, there are no numbers displayed when plugged in.

the 2400watt unit as two power bar. One is master and the other is slave. The master is the one with the yellow light and its meaning s that “The unit is plug to a power source” OOnly the master side will control the on/off of the PSU. The green light will turn on when the PSU is ON. The number display indicate the voltage the power supply is pushing to the cables to your miners/ GPU’s

I thought the PSU was on once you plugged it in and the yellow light came on… How do you turn the PSU on? And after that, how do you know its on?

I haven’t received a response to my email and I am still having an issue with this psu. What do i have to do to see the green power light? So far all i have done is connect the breakout boards and one gpu (card and riser) and plugged it in the wall.

Very quick shipping. Power supply is very quiet. High quality cables. Used this to replace 3x 750w power supplies. Power meter shows 80w power reduction on same setup.

    :

Great Breakout board for a very reliable power supply architecture. I load tested the boards to 100% rated current and viewed with a FLIR imager. Acceptable temp rise for continuous operation.
Cables are acceptable quality, HOWEVER – given the pin configuration of the 8 pin pcie aux power, would be nice to see the bridge be Pin6-Pin 8, Pin and Pin4-Pin7. As the ones I received are configured, Sense0,1 share one 16awg wire to PSU ground (rail -) and two GND pins share one 16awg wire to PSU ground. As the pcie/atx spec doesn’t consider the sense pins to be current carrying, you are not really gaining benefit from the third wire. I measured the current draw of a 1080 ti on the Sense0 wire – less than 50mA. Every other GND wire was over 3.7A. It’s not that big of a deal as two 16awg conductors is more than enough for the rated current. But hey – if you’re paying to have the cable made with that third 16awg GND wire, you may as well configure the product so it carries current!

Thanks for the valuable information’s. Cable GND wire info is well noted and will be pass along.
