Hi, does this kit come with the 4-PIN INTERCONNECT SYNC CABLE?

Support
2 years 5 months ago

Yes it does

I just received this – the zsx and x11 breakout. I can’t seem to get the interconnect sync cable to work with both 750w sps. If one board is pushing power the other is off, and vice versa. Never both at the same time. What am I doing wrong?

Support
2 years 5 months ago

Catch 22 Delima!! Follow these steps 1) unplug the sync cable from the PSU’s 2) power off both psu 3) connect the sync cable … Finally, power one of the PSU and the other will follow

What happened to the HP 750 x2 listing (the 1 with the orange labels)? Also the breakout board is intercompatible btwn the HP and this?

Hi, a couple of questions, first, when you plug each of this psu to a 110 V outlet, the max. power you can get is 750 W?, and the power cord can a generic one, or it needs a specific one?, where can i buy it?, in case it needs a special one, what are the specifications?, and finally, if my residence is in Colombia, how much time it’s gonna take to get the product?, and how it is the process for the shipping payment?, thanks.

Support
2 years 5 months ago

Hi, “the max. power you can get is 750 W” Yes | “the power cord can a generic one” Yes remember the power cord used on the old Desktop computer or computer Monitor? These power cords. Please choose FedEx for shipping and it should be there within 5 to 7 days

Hi, I know this question is already answered but since i can’t see it being specified in the include list i have to ask, does this kit still come with the 4-PIN INTERCONNECT SYNC CABLE?, thanks.

Can I chain 3 750 watt power supplies together? I just ordered this one, but need a bit more extra power and am looking to get an extra 750 watt + power activation cable.

Support

If you mean using our sync cable so that they power on and off at the same time the answer is YES. You can CHAIN/SYNC up to 12 units

hello, Can i sync/chain these 2 psu with breakboard ZSX and X11, with another psu that i bought from you (1400w 200-277v) with breakboard X11? so it will be a total of 3 PSU.

Support

Yes, you can, up to 15 units together.

hi, i bought this product a few days ago and i wasn’t able to test it until now, but it seems to have a problem, it didn’t power up my motherboard correctly, so i measure the output voltage of the ZSX board and i found that the 24 pin doesn’t supply the voltage it should, then i did the same for the 6 pins and the voltage were right, so i’m not sure if the board is faulty or i’m doing something wrong, thanks in advance.

Can the output of these power supplies be run in parallel? I have a riserless motherboard that looks like all of the pin pcie power appears to be all connected. Which would be like connecting the grounds together between the two PSUs and the 12v lines together.

I have 2 of these psus for 2 machines, they work great however one thing i cant figure out. when i power on the motherboard the psus dont power on. i have to manually use the on/off button. same thing when i shut down, the MB shuts down but not the pc. simple setyp, atx cable direct to mb and cpu power is on. any ideas?

Support
2 years 3 months ago

Hi Hendrik, I checked your orders to make sure I understood. I’m assuming you are powering the Motherboard with the ZSX board. The motherboard in this scenario cannot control the PSU/ZSX. First, make sure you set the Bios option (Power Failure) on your motherboard as POWER ON or ON. This means if the power is cut off and then return the motherboard will power on & reboot. You can link the X11 with the ZSX with the interconnect cable https://www.parallelminer.com/product/extended-36-version-x11-x6b-zsx-breakout-board-4-pin-interconnect-sync-cable/ This way when you power on the ZSX the X11 PSU will also power up.

Will each PS have full output of 750 watts with 110 volt?
Example if both are used and plugged into 110 1500 total watts?

Support
2 years 3 months ago

They are rated at 750watt but like everything else, if you want a long life cycle I would recommend a max of 80%. A Tesla might have a top speed of 145MPH however if you were to go at that speed always I don’t think the car/battery would last much. Mining is a 24/7 process; none stop. If you want to kill the PSU in 60days run them at max capacity!

if you connect one to motherboard and another one to GPU that connected to a same motherboard does it handle a case if two potentials are different ?

Support
9 months 24 days ago

You can link the two PSU with our interconnect cable between the Breakout board. In this way when one PSU is shut down or Power on, the other will follow. I’m not sure what you mean by “potentials are different ?”

First off, the fact that these power supplies don’t come with power cords is ridiculous. I don’t mean the 6 pin cables, that makes sense. But no power cables?! That’s just stupid. Second, the build quality on these is very poor. The coil whine is so loud, it’s difficult to be in the same room while they are running. I’ll be replacing them with higher quality PSUs from a website that actually gives you a f*!?ing power cord with your purchase.

    • Joseph g (store manager)

Within the industries of mining or IT server, we cannot know if the PSU unit will be used in the USA, UK, NZ, HK, etc. Will it be used on 200-240V, 277V, 100V, or American standard 110/120V? Will it be plugged into a wall outlet or a PDU unit? If a PDU unit, which type? They are four kinds of plugs available on it? Are there any specific local or government laws at the destination address related to PSUs, PDUs, and power cords?

Each of the countries we ship to use different types of outlet receptacles and so we simply don’t include power cords. That said, we do state in our listing exactly what is included in these kits and the type of power cord required. Most of the PSUs will require a C13 power cord, a standard computer power cord that you can source locally. We offer power cords separately here: https://www.parallelminer.com/product-tag/power-cord/

For some reason neither of the breakout boards in my order (x11-amp or zsx-amp) worked properly. The zsx-amp I just plugged into my motherboard then turned on. It quickly started sparking and a small fire started on the breakout board that I quickly blew out. Next , I tried the x11-amp by itself just connected to the power supply, the power light turn on, but when I hit the power button absolutely nothing (the volt meter never turned on)

Why does it take so long for someone to deal with an RMA request? This shouldn’t take more than a day, as I’m wanting to return these PSU’s (they didn’t work) and order two different ones. Your customer service seems to answer emails and inquiries fairly quickly (about a one day turn around time) why can’t an RMA be dealt with the same?

I received my order very quickly. However, the power supply produced a high-pitched sound when I used it. Despite this issue, I am still giving my experience a 5-star rating because the company replaced the faulty power supply with an HP brand that is working perfectly. Their customer service is top-notch.
