Product Description

18AWG PCI-E 6pin to Dual 8 (6+2) pin Extension Y Cable

The Y-Splitter adapter cable connects to standard male 6pin PCIe ports so it is an ideal GPU mining extension cord. Furthermore, the splitter cable is a cost-saving solution as it can eliminate the need for upgrading other components in the power supply kit. Because the additional 2 pins are ground, this cable can also be used as a 6 pin to dual 6 pin cable. For that reason, this cable is ideal for GPU mining as well as ASIC mining. It can also be used to power GPU riser boards, GPUs, ASIC miners, and other PCIe powered components.

This high-quality y-splitter is designed specifically to power a GPU and its corresponding PCIe-powered riser from a single output port on a breakout board adapter.

Got something to discuss?

Hey guys. Do you have any in stock? It says there’s 16 in stock, but when I go to checkout it won’t allow me. I get a message, “Sorry, we do not have enough….”

Just re-listed 2000

hey can i split this into a 1080ti off a sever psu and power both the 6 pin and 8 pin? off one pcie and this splitter?

2 years 11 months ago

Not recommended but you can try it and check the wire temperature. Obliviously if your hash rate is not as expected you will know why. Give it a try and feedback here your result. You can use the splitter for your riser board perfectly fine. Thanks in advance

If i am using a HP psu with an x8 breakout board. Can i run a 6 pin to 6 pin wire to this slitter then use the slitter to power the dual 8 pin plugs on a Zotac 1080ti GPU? Wondering if this has any detriment to the card and hashing power or if i should run two 6 pin to 8 pin 24″ wires directly off of the x8 breakout board. Thank you

I have 6-pin to Sata Risers. Can I use this safely from there? I mean:
Sata to 6 pin -> 6 pin to split -> Split to Riser and 2nd slot of GPU?
Or do I need to buy the extension for sure?

Yes, you can.

Thanks a lot Joseph. I have read a little more and I want to rectify my previous question. Since I dont have enough PCIE connectors to plug 6 5700xt (8pin & a 6pin connector), I wanted to complete the 6pin slot of each GPU with the splitter as I wrote before.
The SATA I was referring to are those “6 pin to 4-Sata” connectors (I only connect 2 Risers per cable). Those are plugged to the “Periferal connectors” pins of the PSU and not to the PCIE ones. Then, connect the Sata-to-6pin cable to the splitter and power both the Riser and the 6pin slot of GPU. Is that okay? I read that I should never use the CPU to power a GPU but haven’t found a reference to what I just described.
Thanks again.

This is really great stuff. No need extra SATA cable when you use PCI-e riser card, and make cabling cleaner. I want to buy more, but it’s out of stock for now…

    • Joseph g (store manager)

We will have stock sometime this coming week. Stay tune…

My EVGA 1000W PSU has only 5 vga outs and I need to use 6 cards. Can I split one of the 6 pin into two VGA outs using this cable to effectively power two cards?

Works great. I’m feeling a lot better about risk of fire compared to how I had my mining rigs wired before.

Extremely convenient when you have a card that takes 2 6/8 pin connectors and you want to minimize the amount of slots you are using on your PSU breakout board. We are using these to power Radeon VIIs and RX 5700s using one power cable from the PSU.

This is my second order from this company and I am extremely satisfied with both the fulfillment speed and the product quality.

I will most certainly be ordering in the future and if you have any sense you will as well.

Though I wish these were a little cheaper one can not argue these are better quality than some of the similar sets ups sold elsewhere. 10/10
