Our Patent Pending Chain Sync Feature through our Breakout boards is done by connecting the interconnect cable from PSU 1 to PSU2 then PSU 2 to PSU 3. This feature has been tested with up to 20 PSU, but may work with more PSUs. These upgraded breakout boards also allow you to remotely manage your set-up via our XRMT-V1 remote management module.

I cannot get the motherboard to boot. 24 atx pin and 8 cpu pin are connected. I powered on the board. Confirmed the CPU fan is spinning. No video. No POST beep. I ordered two of these power supplies, the one was physically damaged (there is a dent above the vent on the breakout board side) but works and the other has no physical damage but does not power on at all. I reached out the Parallel Miner for an RMA on the DOA unit about a week ago and the status of this RMA process is still “new” thus there has been no progress at all. I am getting concerned that there will be issues getting this faulty power supply returned.

I noticed that your last order was for a 1400Watt PSU. Are you aware that per the title “AC Powered 200-277v…” These require 200AC Volt + and will not power up on 110/120?! We even force our customers to select a AC power with only 200AC + Volt option available.

I ordered 3 of these units and some cables. I received 3 units and what seems to be all of the 6-pin to 8-pin (6 x 2) cables. However, I “did not” receive a single power cable for the PSUs.
Also, the pic provided showed a power cable along with several 6-to-8-pin cables for each unit. I bought 6-to-8-pin cables. Like the power cables I don’t have, were these 6-to-9-pin cables supposed to be included?
Lastly, the black plastic “handle” on one of the PSUs is broken. Each PSU came taped in bubble wrap, except for the end of the PSU where these plastic handles are. The lack of wrapping and the small box into which everything was crammed, I’m sure, contributed to the damage.
Given the problems I’ve encountered simply opening the box, I’m scrounging for a power cable so I can test these units to make sure they actually work. I should have opened the box as soon as it arrived. Everyone seems to love Parallel Miner, so I trusted that everything would be fine while I waited for the cards for my new rig to arrive.
My mistake.

I made the mistake of not opening the box for a while, 2 months? because i didnt need it yet. once i did, oh boy! it looks like it was ran over a few times before shipping. the connection is not like whats in the photo but some make shift C14 cable with crimped on connections to the PSU it self. They took very high duty taxes in us 142$ And that was ok
But when i tested it only fan spining ane RGB nothing else
I tried it on older motherboard it boots with no problems
But on new motherboard ( asus prime h570 plus)
Didn’t boot only fans and RGB and the voltage meter states 12.5 V (supposed to be 12.0V)
I have old atx power supply 400w i tried it and its boot the new motherboard

Within the industries of mining or IT server, we cannot know if the PSU unit will be used in the USA, UK, NZ, HK, etc. Will it be used on 200-240V, 277V, 100V, or American standard 110/120V? Will it be plugged into a wall outlet or a PDU unit? If a PDU unit, which type of plugs are available on it? Are there any specific local or government laws at the destination address related to PSUs, PDUs, and power cords? Each of the countries we ship to use different types of outlet receptacles and so we simply don’t include power cords. That said, we do state in our listing exactly what is included in these kits and the type of power cord required. The voltage will rarely change. In electricity voltage is pressure. Think of it as water coming out of a hose. Current would be the amount of water. This PSU is rated at 12volts and 12volts they will remain. Otherwise, you would have a serious problem. (Voltage X Current) = Watts

This was acceptable. What they aren’t clear on unless you dig into the details is that these power supplies use an LS 26 connection, which is not a standard Nema connection. They do supply the adapter but then you don’t have the pressure of the normal PS use tab leaning against the cord to keep it in. Instead it’s leaning against the adapter. Plus they didn’t send me Delta, they sent me Dell. That’s an acceptable exchange but it’s not what I bought. And the LS 26 thing was a real PITA. The adapters were buried in the packing material and it took me an extra few days to even realize that I had them. I was online trying to find LS 26 the Nema see 19 connectors and not being successful. Plus p.m. is not so great at responding quickly. So if you’re in need of a 1400 W power supply these are OK and they seem to work OK but I would be wary of what you get versus what you buy.

Overall solid psu. The breakout board sticks down below the feet on the PSU, so it puts bending pressure on the PSU circuit board when plugging/unplugging. The breakout board is also very long, so it’s hard to use for some applications. I’d love to see a breakout board that is more durable and compact for mining setups.

Are you aware that these PSUs you’ve been buying both times require 200/240AC! They will not work on a standard 110/120 Home AC plug.

First time using a server power supply and Jean H with customer support got me hooked up with what i needed. Everything went smoothly and its now powering two 3080’s and one 3080ti, running at about 50% or 66 amps, its not really much louder than standard ATX psus. Push it past that, it gets loud real quick. Im right in the perfect zone with it, just under the big ramp up with the fan and running quieter than the gpus in the rack. I definitely will be buying more when the bigger ones come back in stock.

The price listed in this review is $208, but I paid more than that. Also the power adapter did not fit properly and required some moderate tinkering with to make it fit correctly. other power supplies I have got from Parallel have failed within one year so we will see how long these last. I am just using them to mine with. Prices are ok, but this is used equipment.

I think this is a bad batch or something. The PSUs fried two different motherboards and appear to be failing on my PSU tester. Tried a couple of different PSUs, different boards and different cables. Still getting failures. Have screenshots. What do I do next?

Just in case you have not considered this… Look at the beginning of the title of this item “AC Powered 200-277v” Yes 200Volt AV to 277volt AC < Not compatible with Ac 120 outlet

So far, I’ve loved these server power supplies. Unfortunately one of the three died after 3ish months of use. It was a 1200w HP psu. Only used 60% capacity to keep noise down, but it popped one night tripping the breaker. Afterwards it was completely dead. Emailing Parallelminer a week ago and have yet to get a response. Hopefully these two new 1400w ones will hold up for a while. While they work, they’re really good. I know we’re buying used refurbished, but I was hoping more than 3-4 months out of the first one I bought. Even with the one bad power supply I’ve gotten, I’m sticking with the server ones from here on out.
