Product Description

All-In-One GPU Mining Power Supply ZSX Kit Delta 2400 Watt Platinum 94% Power Supply 200-240V

This 2400 Watt GPU mining power supply kit is built using a certified Delta 94% Platinum server power supply and our 16 port ZSX and X11 breakout board. This server power supply features 2 Common Slot power bars; one master slot and one slave slot. Furthermore, GPU miners can enjoy the consistency of having all video cards and risers plugged into a single power supply. Perhaps most noteworthy, this PSU has a voltage output of 12.5V, allowing any miner to perform at higher, more consistent hash rates. Please note that this PSU is only compatible with 200-240V.

The ZSX is the first of its kind to include a full ATX PICO 24pin connector to directly power your Motherboard, CPU Power, and an HDD or SDD. Additionally, it features built-in Fan HUB to power up to 10 Fans. The ZSX is truly the single board for 100% GPU mining rigs. As of April 2021, we now offer the option of the ZSX-AMP breakout board with this kit!

Certified by Delta to perform at 94% efficiency, increase your ROI by upgrading to this more efficient 12.5V power supply. More importantly, enjoy unmatched reliability; unlike ATX power supplies, the Delta DPS-2400AB can withstand the harsh environment of a 24/7/365  GPU mining operation. Unlike standard ATX power supplies, server power supplies are designed to run 24/7 for years, even at 100% load.

Hi there, I need to connect a few rtx3070, this gpu use 2 8 pin connector (150w each), so I wonder how much power and current can I get from each 6 pin connector?
The PCIe standard says 75w, but I don’t know if you guys make follow that, I wanna know if I need to use 4 6 pin connector for each gpu :O

Could you share some details about the noise if you have some decibel curve about this psu by any chance ?

Support

Unfortunately, we do not have data on noise. I’ve used the 2400watt in both ASIC and GPU; if you stay below 90% capacity they are pretty quiet.

I have two of these supplies on one rig, and as luck would have it, the interconnect cable is a few inches too short to reach between the supplies. However if I connect the chain sync interconnect cable to the X11 board on the secondary power bar of one of the supplies the cable can reach.
Can the X11 board on the secondary power bar control the Delta 2400W PSU?
I’d test it myself but my 240V PDU won’t arrive until late this week.

Yes, 200AC to 240AC. So if you have three phases 208volt it is also fine

Is the power cord that comes with the kit 12AWG?

Support
3 years 11 months ago

Within the industries of mining or IT server, we cannot know if the PSU unit will be used in the USA, UK, NZ, HK, etc. Will it be used on 200-240V, 277V, 100V, or American standard 110/120V? Will it be plugged into a wall outlet or a PDU unit? If a PDU unit, which type of plugs are available on it? Are there any specific local or government laws at the destination address related to PSUs, PDUs, and power cords?

Each of the countries we ship to use different types of outlet receptacles and so we simply don’t include power cords. That said, we do state in our listing exactly what is included in these kits and the type of power cord required.

Most of the PSUs will require a C13 power cord, a standard computer power cord that you can source locally. We offer power cords separately here: https://www.parallelminer.com/product-tag/power-cord/

Wouldn’t 12.5v input to a GPU be somewhat of a risk in damaging components in the GPU?

I cannot see the other end of the plug in the provided product images. Does this require a special outlet? A 20 amp breaker? Thank you

Support

https://www.parallelminer.com/product/3feet-14awg-15amps-ul-heavy-duty-power-supply-cord-c14-to-c19/ This is what we offer, assuming you will be using a PDU with a C14 type. However, if you have a standard Desktop computer power cord it will work also. So as long as you have 208AC volt +

What are the max amps for all the fan ports? Can I use fans that take 1.5 amps on all 10? Thank you.

Support
3 years 11 months ago

The amps are the total current output of the entire board in Direct Current. This is not the same as “At the wall AC Side” Please try all 10 at 1.5amps and let us know the result. If it fails we will replace it. Please keep us posted.

Broderick Blickle

If I want to know the total watts for the delta psu, do I need to be using two zsx-amp breakout boards on this PSU?

Support
3 years 10 months ago

Hi Broderick. Remember currents x volts = watts. The 2400watt has two slots in power bars. The ZSX will only provide you the information on the bar it is installed. You would need the ZSX-AMP Combo with X11-AMP. We are currently out of stock but we should have these sometime next week. Possibly you can always use an AC Wall Meter. AC side would be total watts plus with loss of PSU efficiency; here about 6% loss. That is the cost of converting AC to DC.

Customer
Broderick Blickle
3 years 10 months ago

Thanks for the quick response! I tried using two zsx-amp boards and learned quickly that I needed the x11-amp as two zsx-amp boards will not fit haha. I will look for the X11-AMP next week. They were out of stock when I ordered, so I purchased a couple extra ZSX-AMP.

I have ZSX Amp and X11 breakout board with Tripp-Lite PDU12IEC. I am getting DC light on but no light on 12V and no light on PC and press the on/off button PSU fans turn on for few seconds and nothing happens.. Motherboard is not getting power. However, when I try a different PSU then my motherboard turns on. What am I missing?

Support
3 years 10 months ago

Your Tripp-Lite PDU12IEC can support both 120v & 240v. However if you only connected it to 120V, that is all your going to get, 120v. In order to use 240, it has to be connected to 240v. Until you have step clearly established you cannot continue troubleshooting. Research on how to connect your Tripp-Lite PDU12IEC on 208/240. Usually that would be (2) 120v + (1) Ground

Hey guys,

Anyone know if there’d be any issues running two ZSX boards off the Delta 2400w PSU?

I have a 12 card 3070 rig that uses two mobo’s and I’d like to take full advantage and efficiency of the server PSU.

I just haven’t seen that configuration before so wasn’t certain if there’s an issue.

Support
3 years 9 months ago

I don’t think we ever tried. I think physically the ZSX is wider and designed to fit perfectly with X11 or X11 AMP on the 2400w. I’m not sure if they will fit… But first thing Monday our staff will try it. I will keep you posted Steve. Thanks for the idea

I have been running the PSU with a 3 card rig which uses about 400 – 450 watts and I am very surprised at how whisper quite this device is. I am sure it will get louder as I put more load on it, but with the current small load I have on it you wouldn’t know it was on unless you looked at the fans spinning in the back.

I received then item with some missing parts. I took 3 times to get it sorted, now that I tried to install it (the 24 pin to power the motherboard) some smokes and came out of the breakout board and luckily didn’t break any of my GPU’s or motherboard… that breakout board definitely needs some attention. Plus one of the fans of the PSU is a bit noisy, let’s see if it lasts… Not an overall good experience with the product so far. The customer services anyway has been always available to help sort stuff out for me.

    1) does this have any issue running rtx 3090?

    2) 2400 watt should be enough to run 12 rtx 3090?

    and

    3) can anyone clarify the connections from 3090 to risers to the MB?

2 8 pin > 6 pin splitter > to which connection in the MB?

  25. 5 out of 5

    james2 (verified owner)

when you say pushing the limit – as in, it cant even support 1 3090? or it wouldnt be able to support 12?

in theory it could support 12, but def not 19?

would you need 2 of these power supplys to run 19 3090s?

or would it be better to just run regular power supply.

    just trying to optimize builds.

    • Joseph g (store manager)

You have a 2400 PSU 80% for sustain 24/7 12 months. (2400X0.80) = (1920watt / expected watt consumption per each 3090) = How many cards you should power!

Have been using this kit to power my asus b250 for a while now somewhere very close to 2.4kw 24/7. I just bought another since the amp board came out. I was wondering if the zsx amp breakout board shows the voltage and current for just that breakout board, or the whole PSU? If the latter is the case (which I suspect), then should I run two of the ZSX-amp boards on the delta 2400w PSU to get the full picture?

    AC Mining

Working as expected. Im just not sure how to read the watts correctly. It shows volts on both boards but current is only on 1 of them. Is it reading both or just one?

    • Joseph g (store manager)

The Amp version is displaying both Voltage and Total Amp output on the DC Side. Multiply both and you will get Watts. Please be mindful this is the DC side and it does not count for resistance or and heat loss. Is it possible that you have availability of this product in this month? or at least in this year before December? Thanks

Hi Kevin, the market is too unstable. Sometimes we pull product allocated to someone else, other times the product allocated to us suddenly disappears!

Did the last 21 pieces already sell out or did you guys never get the shipment in?

    • Joseph g (store manager)

If you are not going to be getting any more of these 2400W version, what will you be getting to replace it?

Will have a single PSU option above 1500W? I need at least 1800W for the rigs I build.

This particular PSU has been discontinued. Delta no longer makes it and when they did, the cost was above $250ea. We are working on 2000watt and 1600watt which will require a new breakout board. That will be available in Jan 2022. In the meantime, we have 750, 1200 & 1400watt
