Because the market price of Cryptocurrency can change overnight when it comes to selling the actual ASIC Miner. All sales are final.
This kit is ready to be daisy chained to your currently running miners. The Avalon6 miner requires a Raspberry Pi controller and an AUC2 to mine (neither are included, sold separately). Although the Raspberry Pi controller can control 20 units, the AUC2 (short for AvalonMiner USB Converter #2) can only connect 6 units to a Raspberry Pi.

What else do I need to run this miner? Is a raspberry pi neccessary? Or is there another alternative?
This https://www.parallelminer.com/product/avalonminer-raspberry-pi-controller-for-a6-modded-to-bypass-auc2/ and you will need a power supply
Thank you. What power supply would you recommend?
Also wanted to add that with these miners and their modded PI, you can daisy chain like 20 or more of these miners to work with one raspberry pi.
I want to buy another one, but with the jumps in difficulty, there is no way earn enough to cover the hardware cost with such a low hash rate. 🙁
They are currently only profitable if you can get power at $0.13 kWh or cheaper. Everyone is selling them off for more efficient miners which is increasing difficulty. I’d wait for the 10nm ASICs that Samsung is producing chips for or Avalon 841. Supposed to be out Q2 and the 821 that just came out may be obsolete by then as it’s still less efficient than Bitmain S9.
What power supply would you recommend?
DPS 1200 FB-1 A platinum efficiency. Refurbs were going for around $90, but prices have been jumping up due to demand.
What power supply do you currently have in stock that will work with the Avalon 6
Many. Two 750watt Kit Link support 120ACvolt. Platinum 1200watt HP back online tomorrow support 120ACvolt. Platinum 1400Watt support 200+ACvolt. AC volt is the electricity type from your home or business. We will specifically point them to the A6 for you tomorrow
Hi will it work for light coin and what is it’s hash rate?
Bitcoin miner uses Sha 256 algorithm, Litecoin use Scrypt Algorith. You can use this miner to mine any coin that support SHA256. Litecoin Cash or Bitcoin Cash will work just fine
AUC2 needs to come with it !!!!
