Product Description

Delta 2400 Watt 12.5V Platinum 94% Server Power Supply for 200-240V

The Delta 2400 watt server PSU is rated one of the best ASIC and GPU mining power supply available to market to date!  This server power supply features 2 Common Slot power bars; one master slot and one slave slot. The 2400 watts of power will power most current ASIC miners and, depending on the miner, can power more than one ASIC miner at a time. Furthermore, GPU miners can enjoy the consistency of having all video cards and risers plugged into a single power supply. Perhaps most noteworthy, this PSU has a voltage output of 12.5V, allowing any miner to perform at higher, more consistent hash rates. Please note that this PSU is only compatible with 200-240V. Not compatible with 100/120volts

Efficient and Reliable

Certified by Delta to perform at 94% efficiency, increase your ROI by upgrading to this more efficient 12.5V power supply. More importantly, enjoy unmatched reliability; unlike ATX power supplies, the Delta DPS-2400AB can withstand the harsh environment of a 24/7/365 mining operation. Server power supplies are designed to run 24/7 for years, even at 100% load.

When used with breakout boards and cables (Not Included)  the possibilities with this PSU are endless. AC Plug is C19 type required "Not Included".

Do you have a spec sheet on this or an efficiency chart? What is the max recommended continuous output in watts? I’m assuming 2400w is only for momentary load.

None and none are available online thus far. These were intended for HP but an order was canceled. We have personally use them on S5, S7, S9 Avalon A6, 721, 741 and GPU’s for over 2 years. We sustained 2400 watt load for over 12 month 24/7 and still going strong. Base on our test the maximum efficiency is at about at 2000 watt load. We have data center customers who overclock their miners and claim pulling 2800 watt from it – We have voided their warranty 🙂

Having issues setting up my 2x 2400w Mining Rig. I’ve got 240v run to them, but only 1 of the two breakout boards on each of the PSUs seem to be getting power. The breakout board that has the PICU attached to it seems to at least power the GPUs that are attached to it as well, but the other breakout board that’s working (on the other PSU) has power but no cards are getting power. I just see the breakoutboard’s LED lit up. HELP!

Was this ever solved? How? I finally plugged mine in to use it but I’m not sure it’s working windows not recognizing GPU’s. Correct drivers and such installed, LEDs are on. Any specific way these need to be used or setup?

A power supply is a simple device! It ether work or don’t work, ON or OFF. Configuring a GPU’s Rig to mine is complicated, hundred of possible problems.

Also I do notice that when it’s hooked up with a very little load (2 GPU’s) the power light on PSU is dim and flashes.

Noting to do with load. It is the way the breakout board interact with the PSU

Joseph do you know pins which turn this PSU on?

Support
3 years 1 day ago

When you are facing the PSU looking at the two power bar directly in front of you , it will be the bar to your right. Pin 1 and 4 must be shorted. Best use resistor 1k ohm but can also be simply bridge

Pins shorted with breakout boards connected?

The power supply will shut down if any short is detected. If the LED on the breakout is on .. The power supply is running fine. Here my best advice, start small. Unplug everything you do not need but for one single GPU. Get that one GPU working and mining. Then move to the next one ” Not the other five one” the next one and build your rig up this way. Trust me when a problem will rise YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS

Harry, in the last few weeks we have sold 95% of our stock on the 2400watt PSU. These PSU were purchased in the excess market of the computer industry. Once they are sold out they will be no more available. Delta price to HP was above $200 USD ea. As our inventory is shrinking price will rise. Supply & demand
