Product Description

Extended 36" Version Connect Multiple Power Supplies: 4-Pin Interconnect Sync Cable

One of the unique features of our breakout boards released in 2018 is the ability to connect multiple power supplies together in such a way that the power button on one breakout board will trigger the power button on all power supplies synced together.

Connect multiple power supplies together with the chain sync capable breakout boards

This interconnect sync cable allows you to sync two or more power supply units with our X6B, X7B, X11, X12, X15, X20, ZSXBRK, and ZSX-AMP breakout board X-Adapters. Our patent-pending Chain Sync feature is accomplished by connecting the interconnect cable from PSU 1 to PSU2, PSU 2 to PSU 3, and so forth. We've tested up to 20 linked PSUs; how many will you sync together?

The cable is approximately 36 inches long.

Package Contents:

  • (1) interconnect sync cable 3 feet
  • Standard 30-day warranty

BREAKOUT BOARDS AND POWER SUPPLIES PICTURED FOR REFERENCE ONLY; NOT INCLUDED.

Watch the interconnect sync cable connect multiple power supplies in the above video, starting at the 40 second mark.

Directions

  1. Affix the breakout boards to the power supplies.
  2. Plug in the power cords to the PSUs.
  3. Check the state of each breakout board; turn all of the boards off.
  4. Attach the interconnect sync cable to the breakout boards: left slot of PSU 1 to left slot of PSU 2, right slot of PSU 2 to left slot of PSU 3, et cetera.
  5. Connect all other cables to the breakout boards and your mining equipment.
  6. Press the power button and commence mining!

I have a Biostar TB360 2.0 which has two 24pin ATX connectors on it. I am planning a build with 1200W HP power supplies – 2 PSU’s powered by ZSX breakout boards and 2 PSU’s powered by something like an X12 or X15 breakout board. Should I be using this interconnect cable between all of the PSU’s including the two that are connected directly to the motherboard? Or if the PSU is connected to the motherboard via 24pin ATX, then I would not need the interconnect cable? Thanks!

Question: Could a faulty interconnect cable cause issues with a breakout board?

I have the ZSX Amp breakout board (with the 24-pin mobo slot) connecting to a X11 breakout board with one of these interconnect sync cables. The gpu’s that are being powered through the X11 breakout board have been dropping/crashing while mining around every 2-3 days. I’ve swapped gpu’s out and I’ve even swapped power supplies to see if that would fix the issue, but it hasn’t. Each breakout board is being powered by 750w server psu’s.

The gpu’s that first had issues on the X11 worked flawlessly on the ZSX, while the ones originally on the ZSX started having issues once powered through the X11. Seems like whichever gpu’s are connected to the X11 start to have issues. The only thing I haven’t done is replace the interconnect sync cable that links the main ZSX breakout board to the X11.

Could it be just a fault interconnect cable? Or could it be a faulty breakout board? Please let me know! Thank you
