Power Supply Certification:

With the increased popularity of ASIC and GPU mining many overseas and domestic sellers are taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of some users. We have seen an increase of sellers passing these HP 1200W PSUs as 94% Platinum rated. The only HP platinum 1200W PSU in the market are the ones with the following part numbers:  570451-101, 643956-101, 643956-201, 748283-201, 703247-101 (Certified by HP Directly). If you bought a HP 1200W PSU and it does not have these part numbers, IT IS NOT 94% PLATINUM CERTIFIED.

Got something to discuss?

3 years 6 months ago

I am building my first rig. How can I connect the cable to a GTX 1070. I have this PCIE riser: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071XDCTPR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Can I directly connect to the riser? or to the 1070 8 pin connector?

I plug into the wall and Led1 turns on with yellow color. I can hear the PSU buzzing. I dont see the 8-segment display turning on. Nothing else happens even after pressing the black push button on the breakout board. Am I missing any steps? or is the board broken?

Same problem….

I bought this kit, I plugged up an S3 on it and it worked fine, then I plugged up an S5 on it and just after the S5’s fans started to increase the rpm the HP PSU it made a loud sound like an explosion and stopped working :/

S5’s need 750Watt. If you try to power more then one with this PSU “rated” at 1200watt you have surpassed it maximum capacity. These PSU are protected and when they pass a temperature they will shut down. In most case after they cool off they will be functional again. If not and you received this kit with in the last 30days. It is under warranty and we will replace it for you. Send us a message via the contact us page and we will send you an RMA#. Again do simple math here .. This PSU is rated at 1200watt not 1500watt not 2000watt

Can you use this at all on 110V with lower wattage output or no?

3 years 5 months ago

This specific power supply kit is designed to only work with 200-240v outlets. We do have other listings for the 1200w power supply that is compatible with 110/120v use. Please note that you will only produce a max of 900w of power when connecting the 1200w power supply to a standard 110-120v outlet. Thank you.

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Parallel miner. My package was very well packed and the shipping via FedEx was fast. The power supply, breakout board and the cables all work perfectly. If you are serious about mining use a server power supply and pico adapter to ditch your overpriced ATX power supply completely. Do the math. Work out the price per watt of your ATX power supply. Now do the same for the power supply kits that Parallel miner have and you will find that you have been ripped off by the ATX power supply manufacturers.
