I did some research about powering a single antminer D3 with two PS and , turns out if there were any power surges in my home network , it may damage the Antminers bord !? correct me if i’m wrong , thanks in advance

The D3 and or S9 or S7 are populated with three hashing board and one controller. Damaged can happen if you were to power a single hashing board with TWO power supply. Here, with a D3 you would power one hashing board with a 750 and controller and two hashing board with a 1200. In this configuration if a power supply fail no damage will occur. The hashing will simply be powered off

None of our PSU kits come with a power cord. We don’t know which country the customer is in or what voltage they have access to. We do not want anyone to damage their units by using a mismatched power cord.

How do you set up the power supply? Mine didn’t come with instructions

https://youtu.be/vFScbUaKtT8 you can refer to this video for instructions. Although the breakout board and cable design has changed since we created the video, the set up is still the same. In short you want to use 6 pcie cables with the 1200w power supply to power up 2 hashing boards, and the 750w power supply will use 4 pcie cables to power up the remaining hashing board and the main controller board.

The video is helpful, but I’m worried about connecting the two parts in this picture (Google Drive jpeg):
https://tinyurl.com/y74wd3tf
It feels like I shouldn’t have to push as hard as I’m pushing (and still not getting the connection to snap in the way it did in the video above with different parts).

I don’t want to push very hard and break something if I’m doing something wrong. If you have an updated video with the current parts, I’d love to see it.

The best way is to insert it from left or right side and push in this way. As oppose to try all at once. Also we always suggest to apply a bit of lubricant on the PSU bar and wipe the excess. What lubricant – Here the goal is to help the board sliding in … Anything viscous just make sure to wipe the excess

Been trying to communicate with someone from your company with no email answer for the last 2 days.

    Help please.

Hi – we are on top of emails but phone have been shutdown. If you have made a request via our contact from it will be replied soon. Base on the item you purchased I’m pretty sure I know what happened. This is a 750watt and part of multi power supply kit. With a D3 that 750 should power only (1) hashing board. The 1200 watt will power the other (2). If these power supply are push above their limit they will shutdown. That does not mean the power supply is dead. After it cool off it should be back.
