Product Description

X15 Rev: B ZSX 16 Port Chain Sync Breakout Board for Dell EPP Server Power Supplies

This X15B Dell server power supply adapter is built with our patented ZSX breakout board for ASIC or GPU mining.

The ZSX is the first of its kind to include a full ATX PICO 24pin connector to directly power your Motherboard, CPU Power, and an HDD or SDD. Additionally, it features built-in Fan HUB to power up to 10 Fans. The ZSX is truly the single board for 100% GPU mining rigs.

  • Standalone combining three specific components into one: ATX 24pin power connector, X15 Breakout Board, and Fan Hubs
  • Optional XRMT-V1 remote management add-on module is available. While these boards are interconnected, use the remote power management module to remotely manage ON-OFF / Schedule Restart.
  • Optional 4-pin PWM cable to allow your motherboard to regulate fan speeds accordingly to current temperatures detected, instead of the connected fans running constantly at 100% speed.

ATX MODULE ADAPTER CONNECTOR:

  • 24Pin ATX Connectors W/ 24in Cable
  • 180watts limit on wattage draw from the 24pins ATX connectors
  • 4Pin Molex Female

How long is the 24 pin cable? What’s the max wattage can be pulled from 24 pin?

Where can we find how many watts can be pulled through a single 6-pin connection?

the power limit of any electric cable is based on its size. Here we have 16AWG stranded copper and they are three pairs per PCI-E cable. The extra 2pin are ground. Found the amp rating of 16AWG wires “Chassis rating” multiply the amp rating x 12volt = Watt then multiply by 3 pair. (Amp_Rating X 12) X 3 = Maximum watt per PCIe cable. To be on the safe side of things I would use only 80% of the result so X 0.80.

Also, take a look at this special cable  https://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-triple-8-pin-3-way-splitter-extension-cable-3x-62pin-cable/

Has anyone used this with a Asrock Q270 Pro BTC+ motherboard? The board needs 1 x SATA power connector and 2 x 5-pin molex connectors to power all the GPU PCI-e slots.

I wanted to know if I can just split 5-pin molex connector to power the motherboard for the GPUs with the cable that comes with the molex/sata cables on it.

for RTX 4090 , what is preferred cable to use 12VHPWR Modules 4X6-pin or we can use 4 6 PIN and use build in 4x8PIN to 12VHPWR ?

Another solid product from Parallel Miner. Would love to see a board with 18-20 PCIe ports to use with the 2000w PSUs.

parallel’s breakout boards are second to none, especially the zsx series which gives your 1 psu as 2 with the atx pico port

I really love the board, but I have 2 idiot questions.
1, Can you confirm if the fan headers are normal headers so they have 1A rating? Or more? (Planning to split my fan cables ofc accordingly which fans I will use and which rating the header has)
2, Do we have any other chance to power up FANs then the fan headers? (I mean from a smaller board without FAN headers? Is it possible to use a molex to 3pin fan or 6pin pci-e to 3pin fan cable? I understand if the 4th cable wouldnt work obviously cos that would be the PWM cable that wouldnt connect to the header to give information from the board to the fan. But is it possible to power them up and let them run on max without control? Or I really need fan headers on the board to be able to power them up?

    Thank you for your answer!

    Kind regards,
    Olivér Nedvig

Hi Question 1 = Yes | Question 2 = “6pin pci-e to 3pin fan cable” > that would work. Do not power anything for the 4pin Molex except an SSD

  14. 5 out of 5

    Driaq

I just found this 10fan hubs with SATA power.
So I understand from the second part of your answer; you DO NOT offer to power up the 10fan hub with a MOLEX to SATA cable?
In this build the ssd is an m2 ssd on a mini motherboard that runs from 6pin pci-e and powers up only the processor with a minifan, the sodimm memory and the ssd.

Received the wrong breakout board for my power supply…twice! I need the boards that fit DPS-1200FB A. I need to return the order I received! Need a return label!

    • Joseph g (store manager)

We shipped what you ordered! Contact us via our contact page for a return process. I checked you Order 121300 & 121243… You ordered an X15ZSX in both instance. The X15 is not compatible with DPS-1200. Will be happy to work with you but it’s sucks to blame us for your error(s).
