Product Description

X6 8 Port Breakout Board Adapter Compatible With HP, Delta, Dell 750w / 1100w / 1200w / 1400w/ 1500w/ 2400w Power Supplies

Power supplies capable of 2400 watts output can sell for hundreds of dollars. While all are third-party names and often low quality made in China, server accessory excess allows the market to acquire original TOP QUALITY power supplies at a fraction of the cost. The problem with server power supplies is their proprietary Common Slot connectors. The X adapter solves this problem and allows the power supply to be used for other applications such as Crypto mining, RC hobby, drones or and powering high current 12v devices. Combined with the quality of an HP, Delta, or Lite-On server power supply, the X-Adapter REV6 was made to withstand harsh environments of ASIC miners 24/7.

Common Slot Adapter Specifications:

  • Support up to 100Amp / 2400Watts
  • Mechanical on /off switch. Retains its state
  • Support 8 PCIe 6Pin connectors
  • LED indicator lights: Yellow (receiving power) and Green (pushing power)
  • LED voltmeter display Onboard
  • Protective bottom plate
  • Adapter designed to work with Common Slot server power supply units

Hi Joseph, I have read a few stories of people using the wrong cables and frying things, so would like to confirm please:

I purchased two of these breakout boards for hp power supply and would like to power my GPUs and powered risers. Does it make sense to order these (24 INCH 16AWG 6 PIN MALE TO 6 PIN MALE PCIE POWER CABLE – ANTPCIE-03) to plug into breakout board , and then these (18AWG PCI-E 6PIN TO DUAL 8-PIN Y-SPLITTER EXTENSION CABLE 2X (6+2PIN) CABLE. 6IN EACH SIDE – ANTPCIE-Y01 )to split at the GPU and power both the GPU and the powered riser?

Thank you!

It make perfect sense. Running the same cable for one GPU to its own Riser is in my view the best way. Riser require little power so the math will be on your GPU side. Our cable are 16AWG and will handle 230watt. Once running, check if they stay cold or become warm. If warm then the load is near max capacity if hot you need to change something.

Will these items be returning to stock anytime soon? I have had good luck with these and 750w supplies. Don’t need all the outputs of the other more expensive BB’s. Thanks

We understand. We lower the price on the X6 because it was being phase out. They are advantage on the X7 and 8 other then the extra ports. The X6 power button does not retain state. Which mean if you are out somewhere and a power failure occur when the power come back on, the X6 will not unless the power button is pressed. Not a big deal if your are a few hours away but when you are (5) days away it become a bigger problem!

Support

If you see listing with X6 on the site you will get automatically upgraded to an X7. At no extra cost

I just had a confirmation that a new X6 model will be release soon. The X6b. Pretty much will be exactly like the X11 and its features but with only 8 ports. Price will be very aggressive, near the current X6. Due to be release Mid Feb.

Is the on/off switch auto? Or does it need to be turned on every time power is applied? Want to make sure if on and I kill the power remote it will power right back up. Thanks,

My power supply with this adapter gets very hot (up to 140F). The fan does not seem to run at full speed. Is there a way to make the fan run at full speed with this adapter board? Is this high temperature normal for it to run at?

I would post this in discussion but it always says invalid capcha.

    • Joseph g (store manager)

You may want to check your power supply, it might be defective. Keep in mind if your load is above the PSU rating .. Things will get hot
