Product Description

16 Port Chain Sync Breakout Board + PCIe Cables for HP, DELTA, LITE-ON Server Power Supplies

This server power supply adapter kit is built with our patented ZSX Amp breakout board and your choice in high-quality PCIe cables for ASIC or GPU mining.

Cable Option 1: 6 Pin PCIE to 6 Pin PCIE  (Typically used with ASIC Mining)
Cable Option 2: 6 Pin PCIE to 8 Pin (6+2) (ASIC or GPU Mining)

Built from its predecessor, the ZSX AMP retains the quality of the ZSX while adding several new features not seen in the industry. It is backward compatible as a replacement for the ZSX, X8, X6B, X7B, and X11.

The AMP version displays the total DC amperage as well as Voltages. Users now have the ability to know their DC watts output.  The X11 Amp is the breakout board for built for ASIC or GPU Mining.

Easily calculate your wattage use with a simple formula.
Current x Voltage = Watts     e.g. 70 Current multiplied by 12v equals 900 watts.

  • Standalone combining three specific components into one: ATX 24pin power connector, X11 Breakout Board, and Fan Hubs
  • Optional XRMT-V1 remote management add-on module is available. While these boards are interconnected, use the remote power management module to remotely manage ON-OFF / Schedule Restart.
  • Optional 4-pin PWM cable to allow your motherboard to regulate fan speeds accordingly to current temperatures detected, instead of the connected fans running constantly at 100% speed.

ATX Module Adapter Connector:

  • Live Amp reading directly on the ZSX / Minimum 20amps for accuracy
  • Read  Ohms Article to understand AC load & DC Load differences
  • 24Pin ATX Connectors W/ 24in Cable
  • 180watts limit on wattage draw from the 24pins ATX connectors

Hello, I recently purchased a PSU Delta kit but I made the mistake of not getting a breakout board to power up the motherboard.

Will this kit help to power up the motherboard, CPU, SATA SSD, and case fans? Or do I need to get additional cables for that purpose?

This will be enough to power your motherboard and several GPUs. However, you need to understand its limitation. So I strongly suggest you see the following link prior to your install. https://www.parallelminer.com/videos/rabid-mining-crypto-tech-h110-pro-btc-kit/ & https://www.parallelminer.com/uncategorized/wiring-guide-for-all-in-one-zsx-board-and-motherboards/

What is the difference between the zsx and zsx amp?

Support
2 years 6 months ago

The amp version of any of our boards will have a second display for the Total DC output Amperage without calculating resistance. This article might be helpful https://www.parallelminer.com/uncategorized/what-is-ohms-and-why-it-matters/

Hello, my motherboard has two 8 pins and power connectors for the two CPUs but this board only has 1. Any idea how i can make this work?

Support
2 years 6 months ago

You would have to get a splitter, The ZSX board was not designed to powering more than one CPU. You might exceed its power limits. Please see these two links to help understand its limitation. https://www.parallelminer.com/videos/rabid-mining-crypto-tech-h110-pro-btc-kit/ & https://www.parallelminer.com/uncategorized/wiring-guide-for-all-in-one-zsx-board-and-motherboards/

Hi guys,

any idea how to run this board on a Asrock H510 Pro BTC+,

motherboard arriving next week and i want to make sure i get everything i need in a single order as i live in the uk.

from what i understand they label the 8 pin cpu on there manual as “ATX 12V Power Connector (ATX12V1)”

annd from what i understood pcie slots 1/2 have no molex connector and depends on the 24pin motherboard and or the 8 pin cpu power.

pci 3/4/5/6 each have individual molex connectors.

im willing to be a gubiea pig to test configurations i have a hp1500w arriving next week also.

please advise.

hi guys,

just a quick update

i believe pci slots 1/2 on asrock h510 probtc are powered via the 24pin atx ,

so i believe the pico would need at least 150w + cpu + ram + chipset + storage draw,

if you guys revise the board please up the pico watts to 350-400 watts as this is the only mining motherboard you can buy new from retailers.

I have purchased this breakout board along with the x11 breakout board. A few questions I have for both:

1. How much power does each 6 pin pcie slot give/handle on the boards?

2. How much power can each 6 pin to 6+2 pin power cable give/handle?

3. If my GPU’s have a TDP of 200w~ and require two 8 pins for power, would using a 6 pin to dual 8 pin pcie splitter be okay for both 8 pin power slots? Or should I just use two separate 6 pin to 6+2 pin cables for the two 8 pins needed to power the GPU’s?

Support

The power limit of any electric cable is base on its size. Here we have 16AWG stranded copper and they are three pairs per PCI-E cable. The extra 2pin are ground. Found the amp rating of 16AWG wires “Chassis rating” multiply the amp rating x 12volt = Watt then multiply by 3 pair. (Amp_Rating X 12) X 3 = Maximum watt per PCIe cable. To be on the safe side of things I would use only 80% of the result so X 0.80.

Customer
Avize
2 years 5 months ago

On the safe side, that would be 288 watts per cable. To play it safe, since my GPU’s require two 8 pin power connectors and have a TDP of 200w, is it safe to use one of your 6 pin to dual 8 pin splitters to power the riser + one of the 8 pin power slots and then use a separate 6+2 pin cable to power the remaining 8 pin power slot on my GPU? Or would splitting it up like that be an issue.

Can I use the 4 pin Molex to power a PCIe riser

Support
2 years 5 months ago

No, you cannot. 4pin Molex on the ZSX has limited power. If your riser is PCI-E just use a splitter like these from the breakout board itself to power one or two or even three Riser. https://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-dual-8-pin-y-splitter-extension-cable-2x-62pin-cable-6in-each-side/ or https://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-triple-8-pin-3-way-splitter-extension-cable-3x-62pin-cable/

What is the max current allowed?

Customer

Basically, I’m trying to figure out how many 6 pin connections on the breakout board will need to dedicate to high end cards like the 3080 0r 3090 with TDP over 320 watts/ card total.

If I’m using a 6+2 pin PCIE cables, how many watts can be safely drawn from the 6 pin connection on the breakout board? 75w or 150w?

Thanks for your guidance on this.

I’m using this board with your 1200w (HP-1200SB A). When I boot it up voltage says 12.2V but once 5 of my GPU start mining the voltage shows 11.9V. Is this normal? Current is 45 so im using about 560W.

Support
2 years 1 month ago

Yes, it is. Unless the LED meter is calibrated with each PSU being used you may see a difference of 0.1 to 0.5 volts. If you really want to check it use a multimeter and check directly off the PCI-E Plug

Great experience. Parallel Miner shipped a couple days sooner than their stated processing time which was a big plus. I’ll probably be buying from them more in the near future.

    The ZSX AMP Breakout Board:

I haven’t had a chance to test this out yet as I’m still waiting on more power supplies to arrive. I can at least say that it was packaged well and shows no signs of physical damage.

I also cpu mine with the cpu thats in my motherboard using this breakout board. Is the provided 24 pin/8 pin cpu cable able to withstand the amperage of both the motherboard and the cpu while mining? Worried about the pins on the 24 pin connector that are doubled as the cpu power as well..

    • Joseph g (store manager)

The motherboard side of the ZSX is maxed at 200watt. It is not designed for CPU mining.

i just got my 2 750Watt liteon PSU and they are great. only issue I am having is there a guide on how to connect a Zsx and an X11-Amp so they turn on at the same time? i am having trouble finding documentation for this? the link cable that it came with allows off one one and other off and vice versa. Can i get them both on together?

    • Joseph g (store manager)

You will need a sync cable and one should have been included already. Connect that cable while both are powered off, then when one is turned on the other will follow. Same for when turned off. See this https://www.parallelminer.com/videos/x11-basic-features/
