The Bitmain Antminer S9 follows the same form factor as that of the hugely popular Antminer S7 and is nearly the same size. Yet it has more than thrice the power and twice the efficiency of the S7.
Each Antminer S9 employs 189 such chips to deliver more hashrate and efficiency.

Please note the following:
1. Power consumption figures will vary with your PSUs efficiency, the ambient operating temperature and the accuracy of the power meter. Figures provided are at the wall, with AC/DC 93% efficiency, and 25°C ambient temp.
2. Required power supply unit is not included. Each hashing board has 3 PCIe power ports; all PCIe ports must receive power. Do not connect more than one PSU to the same hashing board, unless you are using a dual fault protection kit.
3. Separate power supply to control board: there is one additional 6pin PCI-e connector on the IO board which must be connected to the PSU to receive power. If you use different PSU for hash boards and control board, please make sure to power the hash boards first.
4. Units are tested and cleaned prior to shipping.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service and contact along the way, when paying with cryptocurrency added communication always makes the buyer feel a lot safer, this was one of the more expensive crypto purchases that I have made and it made me feel good to have steady contact and professionalism. The minor was tested and ran for several hours depositing its earnings into my wallet/pool which I’ve never had a company do for me.
I will say I was slightly disappointed when the unit arrived and some of the screws were a little stripped from changing the fans (which were NEW). It ran at full hashrates as advertised, and was purchased as used so no real complaints. I would buy again but for the price a power supply should have probably been included

Fantastic experience, even with issues. First miner arrived with Asciseer installed. No big deal, I use Braiins OS so it was an easy switch to match my other S9 – just a quick reset and sw load. Right out of the gate I was getting auto tune errors, breaker tripping, nothing wanted to work right. Reached out to PM and explained what was going on and they sent a replacement the SAME DAY. Unfortunately the new one arrived with a busted fan (FedEx used the box as a speed bump a few times). Swapped the fan over and voila! Perfect. Returned the defective one and busted fan and I’m good to go. Excellent company, people, and outstanding support. They earned my future business just by how well they helped get everything right.

They sent me a miner with a bad hashboard. Upon firing the s9 up only 2 of the three hashboards work. The red light on the third board wouldn’t even flicker so it has to be a dead board. . Definitely disappointed only getting 2/3rds of what I paid for. Not cool
These s9’s are getting old. There’s no such thing as GEM units left unless they are brand new. So I feel that is bad advertising on there end as they clearly did not send me a gem unit like they advertised and I expected. If they did I’d have a 100% working product.
We will see if they honor the warranty request if not live and learn right? This is expected when you buy used electronics
