Power Supply Certification:

With the increased popularity of ASIC and GPU mining many overseas and domestic sellers are taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of some users. We have seen an increase of sellers passing these HP 1200W PSUs as 94% Platinum rated. The only HP platinum 1200W PSU in the market are the ones with the following part numbers:  570451-101, 643956-101, 643956-201, 748283-201, 703247-101 (Certified by HP Directly). If you bought a HP 1200W PSU and it does not have these part numbers, IT IS NOT 94% PLATINUM CERTIFIED.

Can you give some detail to the power connection to the wall. Is it a C13 connector?

And I would also like to know when you are going to have more of the 2400 watt and 1200 watt Delta/HP in stock. Even just an eta of their availability.

Thanks!!!

does this power supply require a special power cord or is it standard?

The 1200w power supply uses a C13 type power cord. The same as your standard computer ATX power supply. If using this psu at 200-240v, please be sure to use a power cord rated for 200v+ use.

Hi, i’d like to run 12 x AMD RX580 Nitro+ 8GB Special Edition cards in a rig, how many GPU’s would each power supply be okay with?

Support
Albert
5 months 13 days ago

Specifications provided by AMD indicates that the power consumption on the RX 580 8GB requires 250w of power. This number will vary of course depending on your settings on your mining rig. In terms of powering 12 of these GPUs, the Platinum HP 1200w power supply @ 200-240v can power a max of 4 GPUs based off 250w power consumption per card, requiring a total of 3 power supplies for all 12 cards with spare power for your risers and motherboard/ssd as well using our ATX adapter. If you are planning to run the power supply on a standard 110-120v outlet, the power supply will only provide a max of 900w of power. At this configuration, each power supply can power a max of 3 GPUs, requiring a total of 4 power supplies for 12 cards running @ 110-120v. Hope this helps!

I’d really like to save $10, but I’m a little leery of the “Condition:
refurbished.
Condition Note:
PSU Pulled from New Unused systems. May have minor scratches from Removal process”. I’m not sure how I would even be able to tell the difference between this and “used”; however, your products have been GREAT for me so far, and either way I’m taking advantage of this sale one way or another. Keep up the great work!

I just bought one of these, and I’m curious why it shows 11.8 on the breakout board voltmeter, but my old DPS-1200 shows 12.3. Any ideas?

Support

The voltage display is not 100% accurate. If you need the exact voltage output, you will need to use a multimeter.

Thanks! One of my mining buddies told me where to look in the cgminer API log to see the exact volts in (Vi) and out (Vo), so we’re good to go. Sooo glad I was “randomly selected” to get another DPS-1200 too!
