Product Description

24 inch 16AWG 6 Pin Male to 8 Pin (6+2) Male PCIe GPU Power Cord Cable

This GPU power cord is compatible with all high-end video cards. Because the additional 2 pins are ground, this cable can also be used as a 6 pin to 6 pin cable. For that reason, it is ideal for all your GPU mining and ASIC mining needs.

Our PCIe Cables are made of high quality 16 AWG stranded Copper THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated) wires. The nylon coating on the wires is rated for 80°C (176°F). These cables are capable of carrying up to 12 amps and 400 watts per cable.

Unlike the stiff stranded copper THHN wires at local hardware stores, these cables are quite flexible.

The yellow cable is positive.
The black cable is negative/ground.

GPU PCIe Power Cable Specifications:

Gauge 16AWG

Will these work in standard evga psu’s sata/perif ports to power pci-e risers? Also do you make these in a split “Y” configuration with 2 6/8 pin male ends?

Hello, most cables I see are 8 pin to 6 pin. I have 2 6 pin ports on my power supply. Would it be ok to plug my gpu to my power supply using these cable? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Support
3 years 2 months ago

ATX power supply will have marking on their plug socket such as CPU / SATA / GPU … It is very important you use the correct socket as voltage might not be right. So, first make sure you have a socket with 12volt ONLY or with GPU marking. Some PSU maker use proprietary socket to force customer using only their cables. Our 6pin might not be compatible. Test each port voltage before pluging your GPU to our cable. Yellow should be + 12volt black Ground

Hi, would this be compatible with Myrig PSU and Dragonmint T1? (if I just don’t use the 2 extension black cables)
Thanks

Support

If your goal is to extend the cable of Myrig PSU that will not work. This one will https://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-dual-8-pin-y-splitter-extension-cable-2x-62pin-cable-6in-each-side/ As for compatible with T1 … Yes it is

Oh, I’m glad I ran into the discussion boards, that’s awesome. I was about to actually order short length shit-cables on amazon then cut and crimp my own extensions! I think I’ll just wait and hope there is enough for me next week!

Out of curiosity, I priced out the raw parts from Molex, 16 AWG from my local Home Depot, and even if I ordered enough to make 300 cables I still can’t beat the price you guys have! Do you make the cables in-house too?

I see these mostly used connected to breakout boards on hp PSUs. Would these work in the 6pin data port of an ATX PSU like the EVGA 1000w GQ?

Support
1 month 2 days ago

Most likely not. ATX PSU manufacturers purposely make their ATX connectors proprietary so you have no choice but to buy their cables. One more reason to ditch them!

Support
1 month 1 day ago

Most likely not. The ATX PSU uses proprietary connectors purposely so they can sell their cables.

16 AWG is way above standard and these feel like solid core cables. Electronic cables are often stranded due to vibrations, and companies often turn to solid core to save money, but these just feel like good quality cables! No wonder they are out of stock.
