Product Description

24 inch 16AWG Male 6Pin to Male 6Pin PCIe Power Cable

This 6 pin PCIe cable is ideal for use with ASIC miners and PCIe powered risers. However, this cable is also compatible with GPUs that require 6pin for power. The number of compatible GPUs increases when this cable is used in conjunction with our 6pin to dual 8(6+2) Y-splitter cable.

Our PCIe Cables are made of high quality 16 AWG stranded Copper THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated) wires. The nylon coating on the wires is rated for 80°C (176°F). These cables are capable of carrying up to 12 amps and 400 watts per cable.

Unlike the stiff stranded copper THHN wires at local hardware stores, these cables are quite flexible.

The white cable is positive.
The black cable is negative/ground.

Got something to discuss?

Hi Joseph,

Can these be used to power the riser with your HP PSU?

2 years 6 months ago

Yes riser that have a power plug PCie 6pin. They are some riser that still use the older SATA power plug

2 years 5 months ago

Are these safe to use direct from the PSU to power a pci-e riser?

2 years 5 months ago

Yes they are. We recommend powering riser with the PSU directly. While keeping in mind MAX PSU capacity if you do not have enough PCie connectors you should consider the following item https://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-dual-8-pin-y-splitter-extension-cable-2x-62pin-cable-6in-each-side/

Those cables caused my motherboard’s chipset and PSU burn as the white cables, which supposed to deliver 3v, 5v, and 12v, are asymmetrically placed to pin outs. I will update my review as soon as I get assistance from parallelminer.

This is a standard PCie cable use for GPU and ASIC Miner. 6pin to 6pin. 3pin pin are ground and 3 pin are positive 12volt.

These wires do not have a standard pin layout and fried my motherboard. I do not recommend using them without first verifying. The cables and connectors are good quality but the pin layout needs to be fixed

    • Joseph g (store manager)

This is a PCie 6pin to 6pin cable. They are not meant to be use on Motherboard! These are meant to be use with Gpu’s or to power ASIC miners.

    To reply to Joseph g,
I had to create a second account to reply to you. I didn’t use it on the motherboard. It was plugged into the 6 pin slot on my power supply and into the gpu. Because it was a solid short, it surged through the motherboard. Please provide useful feedback instead of acting like the reviewers don’t know what’s going on. Just an FYI the standard pins on my wires are 123456->132456 and the wires your company sent are 123456->312645. That equals a dead short on the power supply which led to my motherboard getting fried. These are NOT pci-e standard

Here too – This cable is not meant to be connect to Any ATX Power supply or any Power supply directly. Many ATX power supply use diffrent configuration of cable and replacement of these cable should be purchase by the specific manufacturer. Your previous messages only mentioned Motherboard. I think its was fair for me to assumed you attempted to connect this to your motherboard. You’be be surprised what poeple try to do at time. Look, these cable are made to be use on breakout board to power ASIC miner. Anything else and your experimenting.

Is it safe to use these to power the riser cards with 6 pin power directly from breakout board?

    • Joseph g (store manager)

      Yes it is .. 12v for 12v

Fast shipping. Only complaint is that I received some with loose pins.

GREAT cables IF used as advertised! Don’t experiment like some of the other reviewers… From the breakout board to an Avalon miner (preferably) is all you’ll need these for. 😉

I could use an inferior power cable, but I like my little farm. These are well made, very reasonably priced, and they ship quickly. These being 14 ga, I don’t have the concerns I would have with 16 ga cables. Overall, an excellent value.

Dear Charles, I understand the frustrations. Within the industry mining or IT server. We cannot know if the PSU unit will be used in USA, UK, NZ, HK. Will be used on 240volt or 120volts? Will it be plug in a wall outlet or a PDU unit? If PDU nit which type of plugs “They are about 4 kinds” are the countries’ laws require 16AWG or is 18AWG is alright? Each of these countries uses a different type of power cord and so we simply don’t include them. That said we do state in our listing exactly what is included in these kits. And yes I still get where you’re coming from. Best regards, Joseph

Issued a refund with no questions asked. I was impressed at first with the quality of the cable but it turned out not to work. I assume this one was a dud, but felt confident in giving the experience 5-stars based on the customer service.
