Full Retail Boxed | Lenovo EMC IX2 Network Attached Storage NAS 2-Bay 2TB 4TB 6TB
** The Lenovo EMC IX2 NAS stores it's firmware directly onto the installed HDDs instead of on the unit's hardware; as such, Diskless units will not boot if you install blank HDDs. However, when adding a second, blank HDD to it and complete the drive setup, the unit will automatically copy the firmware from the first drive to the second drive. Therefore, the diskless unit is ideal for individuals who already have an HDD with the firmware. As of 08-12-20, we offer a 1TB HDD with the firmware pre-installed for an extra $28. **
