A key part of the HP Thermal Discovery Services, CS Platinum/Platinum Plus Power Supplies provide the IT industry’s highest level of power efficiency (94%), helping customers to reduce power requirements by up to 60W per server and reducing overall data center power requirements by up to 10% (as compared to ProLiant G6 power estimates). CS Platinum/Platinum Plus power supplies also enable HP Power Discovery Services which focus on increasing compute density while reducing data center outages.

Hello Thonz. What is the greatest advantage about server PSU is they can perform at nearly 100% max capacity 24/7 for years. However, if you do run them above 70% capacity the small fan inside will sound like a jet plane! Below 70% it will be acceptable.

I bought one of these, I’m very excited. If I’m to run 240V through to get the full 1200W what power cord would you suggest guys?? It looks like a normal IEC plug!
