Built from its predecessor, the ZSX GPU mining all in one breakout board retains the quality of the X11 while adding several new features not seen in the industry. Hi, they are two Molex 4pin on the ZSX make sure you use the one mark SATA to power your SSD. Unplug any unnecessary components, In order to post you need three components CPU, Memory, and one Video Card. If that Video card is on a riser you will need to power that riser as well. Finally don’t forget the CPU power 4/8pin. The motherboard will not turn on by itself you will need to find the on/off jumper on the motherboard.

Hi Orrin. The fan goal is to cool down the PSU. If the PSU reaches a high temperature it will shut down by itself. On the other end if the load on the PSU is not high enough then there is nothing to cool down and the fan will stay idle. So, if you have a bad PSU it will overheat and shutdown. Otherwise, you have nothing to worry about.

For 2 weeks in February, severe weather across the nation was causing flights to be cancelled and delayed all shipments for several hubs (for all postal carriers). Specifically, there was a massive, deadly winter storm raging in Tennessee that stopped all travel at FedEx’s major world hub in Memphis.
At the beginning of March the weather cleared up. FedEx announced that they will prioritize delivering the COVID-19 vaccine and other medical supplies before “non-essential” packages such as ours, but you will start to see movement on your package again!

Having a little bit of an issue with my current setup. My mobo is a Z390-P with a 9900K and a AIO on the CPU, a SATA SSD, 2 sticks of RAM and one PCI Riser attached. I have the 24 pin attached and have triple checked that it is firmly seated and attached. Have the CPU power attached as well.
When I plug in the power cord into the psu, I immediately get a yellow led, and then after maybe 30 second the green will come on. At first the blue led would come on for a second and then go off. I eventually moved the fan and pump for AIO off of the mobo and onto the fan power slots on the ZSX. So now the blue led will come on intermittently and then go back off. The voltage readout shows 12.1-12.2 volts. My mobo is getting some power because the mobo led is coming on but there is no post. I have also tried with no riser attached and still nothing. At this point, I am not sure what I could be doing wrong. The only things connected to the mobo are 24 pin power, cpu power, sata cable for ssd (powered by molex on zsx board), and a power switch.

We need to make sure the PSU is not faulty. The process of elimination is always the best way to go. If you have another system and can simply check that the ZSX with the PSU is capable of powering something else do that. If not try to simply post with your motherboard. IF you have an ATX PSU try to post your motherboard with that. Eliminating the possibility of an issue with this part. Use the minimum required to post with your Mboard. CPU, Memory, (1) Video card. Noting else, we just want to post to bios. Now, do the same with the ZSX.. just post your Mboard. Then go from there in steps. Keep us posted

For Ethereum Mining the rx570 Polaris cards use about 118w each and the W5700 will use about 131w this is with efficient settings so leave a bit of room for possible loss of overclock settings and your own settings. This brings me to a total of 957w plus you got to add your system of around 17-30w depending on how many and what system fans you are using. It is recommended to use a watt meter to tell your consumption at the wall as miner software do not tell the true power of a card. If you do choose to try another coin that is core dependent like ravencoin the cards will use even more power. Would recommend 2 of the PSUs to be safe as one would put you over the 900w mark on 120v.

Everything was easy to use for me. Plug and play pretty much. Been running for a week with no issues. There was a moment when it was screaming like a banshee but once i adjusted my watts down a little, it calmed down. I’m running about 5 cards at about 590 on this one, so not sure on the noise level if you’re running more than 5 cards. But so far, pretty quiet and reliable!

Hello Joseph, I would like to follow up on my issue. First off, I would like to thank you for the amazing customer service and the fast reply. I did make sure that the breakout board itself is defective and not the psu itself. As you can see, I have multiple orders of hp power supplies on my account and I was able to swap out the psu with another one to make sure the issue isn’t the power supply. After switching psus, the problem still persists and the psu perfectly powers my gpus on my X11 Breakout Board. I would also like to confirm that the only thing plugged into the molex power is only a 2.5 inch sata ssd and it is plugged into the correct port.
My rating is 5 stars for the amazing customer service that I’ve been given the past almost 3 months. I have sent a follow up under the “Contacts” tab. I highly recommend ParallelMiner for any of those looking for amazing products.

Hi, we have Both ZSX and ZSX-AMP in stock. However, we are currently out of the 1200watt platinum. We are working with OEMs and other IT traders to secure more stock. The -AMP version of both the ZSX or X11 have an extra LED display showing the total current draw from the PSU. That current is in DC, not AC.

I got the Board DOA (dead on arrival ) It lit up 5 seconds and stoped working. Fedex for a bit lost the package. Finaly got it and didint work. I did so much trouble shooting to make sure it was defective. I make a RMA claim on the 12th ..they say that its 2 days because of longer delay ….. we are now the 17 still no news. I was told that parrallel miner was the best place to get reliable grade mining gear. In not saying it isint, obviously the 5 stars destroy any low review… but i wrote twice now and still no news?
After a week in a half … tech support had already shipped the defective part ….it’s not a bad service. But i still think they should of replied more then once to my message not just say….. ”your doing it wrong” disconect and reconnect …then no message for 7 to8 days. Please just in case for the next one. On the next one, do not connect anything but the motherboard side first and post to bios. Remember the Molex mark SATA is the only one that should be used to power an SSD. The second Molex is for remote power on/off. Keep in mind that the Motherboard side is maxed at 200watt. If you have GPUs on your motherboard you will kill the ZSX. GPU’s should be mounted on risers and these risers powered by the 6pin PCIE

After using this power supply for 8 months now i can say it works really well. You can use it in you room and for the most part its pretty silent when you used something like 6 x 1660 supers at 520 watt (480 watt for 6 x 80w + 40w roughly used by system according to my mining OS). When you add a 7th card to it and it reaches around 600w thats when you will hear a noticeable increase in sound produced from it (its not that loud and can only be heard through headsets if there is no sound playing but its very light). So i highly suggest it for a room setup but since i can’t compare the noise with the other power supplies (such as the 1400w,1500w,2400w) i don’t know which would be better for your setup. (just keep in mind the 80%/20% rule when buying a PSU for mining, 80% to gpus without undervolts (so 125w x 6 = 750w , 80w x 6 when undervolted. For this PSU its 960w max for gpus without undervolts and the rest for the system)

Order a ZSX-AMP plus a PSU and required cabled to power two GPUs. All items arrived on time and in perfect condition. After opening the box we figured that the PSU ordered was not compatible with the ZSX board. So we proceed to order a Dell PSU, now after triple checking in the compatibility list. The new PSU arrived today and for our very bad surprise we could not power on the rig. We have an amber light On at the ZSX-AMP board what we understand from the manuals means there is power coming from the PSU to the board, but after pressing the On/Off switch nothing. else happens. The amber light stay On and that’s it. Please help

How can I power up the rigs?

Within the industries of mining or IT server, we cannot know if the PSU unit will be used in the USA, UK, NZ, HK, etc. Will it be used on 200-240V, 277V, 100V, or American standard 110/120V? Will it be plugged into a wall outlet or a PDU unit? If a PDU unit, which type of plugs are available on it? Are there any specific local or government laws at the destination address related to PSUs, PDUs, and power cords?
Each of the countries we ship to use different types of outlet receptacles and so we simply don’t include power cords. That said, we do state in our listing exactly what is included in these kits and the type of power cord required. Works great! These things are a BEAST! I accidently put a load of about 1,150 watts on it with an input of 120 Volt. The max output should be 900 watts at that voltage, but the fan on it cranked up and it chugged out ~1,100 watts for about 4 days straight! I know that is not what these are designed for, and I wouldn’t run this in extended use that far out of spec. BUT just letting you know that it can be done and this is a very robust power supply!! Side note, I love how quiet it is when not at full load!

I have always been sceptical buying items like this online. But after long debate I finally decided to give it a go… I live in Canada so it had a ways to travel but it arrive very fast and well very well packaged. Only thing I overlooked was the duty charge coming into Canada but easily paid threw FedEx and there was no delays.
The board is at half capacity on 120v. And runs like in my dreams…. I can’t believe how helpful this setup is to have, totally makes getting into higher end GPU mining a breeze! And having the amps and volts readout on the board is crazy nice and easy to watch so you don’t overload anything…

While both Molex connectors will fit into the socket on the ZSX – they are wired differently. If you use the wrong one, whatever you have plugged into the other side will literally evaporate, ask me how I know. Luckily it wasn’t anything important and the ZSX and PSU both came out un-scathed but I highly recommend the Parallel Miner folks update the manual with big red text like they have for the 180W limit. Otherwise, excellent PSU and an innovative board. If not for the Molex issue, 5/5.

The Power Supply got to me quickly and has been running stable for about a week now, I heard great things about Parallel Miner and these Psu’s so I went ahead and got one. Beyond Satisfied with this. The Breakout board is stuck at a constant 11.7 on the voltmeter so I’m not sure what’s going on there, but it works!

The cables and power supply worked great without issue, only issue that came about was powering my motherboard, cpu, and ssd with the breakout board. I was not able to get it up and running without buying an ATX power supply to power those 3 components. Other than that, it powers my gpus without issues.

I’ve ordered other Server PSUs and Breakout Boards from this company with NO ISSUES what so ever. I think just this one was just a random bad apple so to speak.
I wasn’t interested in paying shipping costs plus export fees for a return.
Using my ATX psu in the meantime until I can afford to buy a new one.
I just wish it didn’t fail after a week.
I will buy again though. Been a great company to buy from all in all.

Quality seems quite high. unfortunately my motherboard and a graphics went up in smoke after attaching this. The fan on this psu went full speed and smells like smoke. I can’t blame parallel miner though because I don’t know the root cause. I ordered a PSU off amazon to plug into the breakout board and test it on an old dual opteron system I don’t use anymore to make sure everything is working as I am sure it will.
